I’m making a few moves in my tIRA account.

A big bankruptcy in China has the markets spooked. I’m waiting to see if this is a one day sell of on news or start of a trend before opening a new spread. Instead, I’m making some moves in my tIRA account. With shares attractively priced, I bought 20 shares of APPN for 99.58 (1991.60 capital at risk). I’m also looking to sell of my cost basis in OPRX and TCCNF as they are both up more than 100%. If my limit orders clear, I will remove my trailing stop from the remaining shares. The last two moves are to lock in gains and also to raise some dry powder for upcoming picks in the Stansberry service “American Moonshots” which has treated me well.
Three of five spreads with an October expiry are threatened. If today was expiry, market to market would yield P&L for the month of a scant 1,545. If the market settles down in the morning, I will open a new bull spread on Tuesday.
