Friday Fixed Income.

Each Friday, I explore opportunities in Fixed Income Investing. I keep a 40% allocation to debt and debt like securities in early retirement. By focusing on medium to high yield issues and closed end funds, I am able to cover more than 100% of my budget with this allocation. I will never have to “sell low”. What follows is three closed end funds invested in debt and debt like securities that were chosen for being yield rich and attractively priced against their Net Asset Values (NAV). I am not adding additional fixed income exposure today but I might look here first if I was.

Thanks Raptor. I wonder, where do you get inspiration on the CEF you then consider to list here? Is there a website you filter based on your requirements to qualify some of the funds? Thanks .)
