The markets are closed today in honor of MLK.

music selection:  “I Wanna Be Someboday” W.A.S.P.

weigh-in:  212.6 (2.6) – back on track!

I had planned some follow up trades today but had forgotten about MLK and the market closure.  I’ll take of that on Tuesday and resume reporting on Wednesday, normal posting schedule.

How about we do ask the readers?  What stocks are you following or trading?  How are you holding up mentally to the recent downward volatility?  What are you listening to?

Devour your prey raptors!

Happy Martin Luther King Day

Never miss another opportunity to devour prey!

Following CMG, PII and TIF right now.

I’m almost entirely cash at the moment, so I’m happy that I can finally start to dip a toe back into the market…

TIF could be a real bargain after the bad news washes out of the stock price. Pandora truly takes us all to strange places. Start a station based on Iron Maiden, hear 98 degrees doing something live acapella.

Looking at CSCO, ADM and VFC for possible next buy. I’m generally good with the downward volatility as long as I’m still working/investing, but I’m on the fence with ER in the next year or so and it doesn’t help my optimism.

I like CSCO, ADM, and VFC all a great deal. Haven’t checked the yield on 6 week expiry puts on VFC. The Kills!

I sold puts last week on ETN, F, DOW, VZ, and IBM. Basically dividend stocks with low payout but high yields. I’m ok with volatility. I actually get excited on down days. CSCO is a good one that i might look closer at.

Welcome Chade! Haven’t seen you hear before. IBM is in a funk but I think it is a great *long term* story.

You listening to any tasty tunes?
