One Year Anniversary

The Raptor is one year old today!

I’ve been laying out my strategy and trades three times a week for 52 weeks.  Alexa rank is in the top 2 million websites worldwide.  Google AdSense reports 41,647 page views.  That has accrued 85.30 in earnings (you have to cross 100 to get an actual check).  Turns out options investors are a bunch of stingy bastards running ad block software.  Fortunately, this is a labor of love that I’m willing to keep doing for free.

Back in 1998, I discovered the Living Universe Foundation.  I remember posting on the old Cichlid email distribution list that I was going to retire in 10 years to follow the dream and invited others to make the commitment to join me.  I got a lot of noise instead of support.  “You’ll never make it!”  And they were right, I failed to retire in 10 years.  It took 15 instead.  And it was totally worth it.  Once I had actually done it, no one was particularly impressed.  Or convinced they could do the same.  But on the web I find people who believe you can live a dream and that is what keeps me going.
